Top Ten Tuesday: 8 Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested In Reading

Books I’ve Decided I’m No Longer Interested In Reading – This Feels Harsh, But It Needs To Be Done

Most of these have sat on my TBR pile for 5+ years and a lot of them I’ve either seen that they haven’t gotten great reviews, I didn’t feel the series as much or I just don’t see myself ever starting.  This was a really interesting activity.  I actually went through my Goodreads Want To Read pile and removed them from there too.  I had more than 8 that I removed but these were the bigger ones or ones related to genres that I read a lot.

If any of these should make it back onto my list, let me know in the comments!

In no particular order

Collide by Melissa West
Infected by Scott Sigler
Make Room! Make Room! by Harry Harrison

Pandemic by Daniel Kalla
Plague Year by Jeff Carlson
The First Days by Rhiannon Frater

The Eleventh Plague by Jeff Hirsch
The Descent by Jeff Long

I’ve loved reading since I was little when my dad would read me Dr. Suess books. Fast-forward a little and I noticed that he was always reading on his lunch breaks at work, and I wondered why. Then, I found a book that took me to another place and time, to another feeling, another sense of “being”.It was the first book that I ever fell in love with, and I’ve been chasing that feeling ever since.
