You know you’re narrating a character right when you’re children grab your arm and say “Daddy… read the bad guy normal, you’re scaring us with the voice”.
I probably shouldn’t take pride in scaring my kids, but hey, you should know what you’re getting into when you want daddy, who’s a voice-actor, to read to you before bed. If I’m playing the characters… I’m playing the characters.
Aside from reading villains in storybooks really well, I’ve also done corporate, eLearning, and commercial voiceover, been a Graphic/Web Designer, an Inventory Market Mentor, sang Bass to Baritone in choirs, and play the guitar, electric violin and Clare Whistle.
In addition to audiobooks, I’ve had the pleasure of voicing numerous eLearning modules, radio commercials, corporate narration, and even played a genie in the educational video game Meister Cody: Talasia.
