Clare Ashton is an award-winning author of Sapphic romances and mysteries featuring queer women with German translations of her work published by Ylva Publishing and Verlag Krug und Schadenberg.

After Mrs Hamilton is a Golden Crown Literary Society (Goldie) romantic intrigue award winner and her first foray into romantic comedy, That Certain Something, was a Goldie and Lambda Literary Award finalist. Light romance, Poppy Jenkins, won the Rainbow Award for Best Lesbian Contemporary & Erotic Romance. And Finding Jessica Lambert was a Lambda finalist and Goldie award winner.

Clare grew up in Mid-Wales and now lives in the Midlands with her wife and son and daughter who are a lovely distraction from writing.
